A family-run property investment business rooted in Bolton, combining local knowledge, hands-on involvement and commercial thinking.
01 · Our story
Our property journey began in 2010 and has evolved considerably since.
What started with individual property investments has developed into a much more active approach to acquiring, improving, managing and selling property.
Over recent years, refurbishment has become an increasingly important part of what we do. We've taken on properties requiring comprehensive renovation, developed relationships with trusted trades and built the experience that comes from managing projects ourselves.
Today, our interests span residential buy-to-let, HMO and commercial property, alongside refurbishment opportunities where we believe we can create value.
02 · Bolton is home
Local knowledge. Close to the detail.
Bolton has always been at the centre of IMARU Property. Ravi was born and raised here and Nitisha has lived in Bolton for more than 25 years.
We understand much of the local housing stock, differences between individual areas and local rental demand — and we're close enough to our properties and projects to remain genuinely hands-on.

Shared decisions.
IMARU Property is run by husband-and-wife team Ravi and Nitisha. Although we naturally focus on different parts of the business, the important decisions are made together.
Nitisha leads much of the day-to-day operation, spanning property compliance, tenant care and project management.
Ravi focuses primarily on investment, finance and sourcing new opportunities, alongside project management. His approach is also shaped by more than 20 years of building and running a successful business.
04 · Hands-on by choice
Being hands-on isn't about trying to do everything. It's about staying close enough to know what's actually happening.
We source opportunities, view properties, assess the numbers, arrange finance, manage refurbishment projects, meet prospective tenants and remain directly involved in property management.
05 · Where we're going
Building on experience. Increasing our ambition.
We want to continue growing our investment activities while taking on larger refurbishment opportunities and moving further into property development.
We're interested in sustainable progress rather than growth for the sake of it — finding good opportunities, executing them well and continually increasing the scale of what we're capable of delivering.
